Today, in our new art drawing lesson, we’re going to try something new that kids especially love — the dolphin! Dolphins are known as friendly creatures, and whenever their shows are held, they amaze children with their fun and playful performances. Kids really enjoy watching these shows.
And if they love dolphins so much, why wouldn’t they be interested in drawing them too? Among sea animals, starfish comes first, and dolphin is often second in popularity. So today, we’ll learn the easiest method to teach young children how to draw a dolphin step by step.
Easy method for drawing
The easiest method for teaching drawing is to use different-shaped cards, which are easily available in the market. First, get these cards and let the child practice tracing the shapes multiple times. Eventually, they’ll get a clear idea of how to draw the object on their own. These cards usually come in complete sets, with separate boxes for sea animals, wild animals, and pet animals. Buying these can make it much easier for kids to learn drawing.
A bit difficult method for kids

This method may seem a bit difficult for younger kids at first, but after trying it 3 to 4 times, they’ll be able to make a perfect drawing without any problems. Start by drawing the basic owl shape. Then, at the end of the owl’s body, add a slight curve to form its tail. After that, draw the face. Near the face, draw two small holes, then draw the eyes. Finally, on the lower part of the body, draw the feathers or lines that represent the part that helps the owl breathe.

Shaded drawing

Some kids prefer only shaded drawings, while others like to color them — it’s completely your choice. If you want to add color, there are usually just two colors used: the upper part is blue, and the lower part is white. But if you want to keep it as a shaded drawing, make sure to shade the top and bottom parts in a way that they don’t blend into each other. After shading, darken the outline of the drawing to make it stand out. And just like that, your perfect drawing is ready!
